Krispy Kreme didn't have an easy start. Years of untreated allergies left her nearly hairless, itchy, and battling skin and ear infections — until her family, unable to give her the care she needed, surrendered her to a shelter with no resources to help. They sent an urgent plea, and we said yes without hesitation.

Since then, KK has been rewriting her story one goofy day at a time. She's potty trained, crate trained, and walks like a pro — but what gets us is who she is underneath the bald patches: a tiny menace who decides every new person is her best friend, a goofball who chases her tail and burrows into blankets, and a velcro dog who turns into a lap heater the second you sit down. She's smart (sit, touch, spin — mastered), easygoing about baths and nail trims, and rocking sweaters while her coat grows back with Apoquel and a limited-ingredient diet.

We're entering Krispy Kreme because her glow-up deserves to be seen — and every vote helps the next dog who needs a second chance.
