Biscuit was found roaming the streets until someone caught and took him to Pawfect Match Rescue. He quivered in fear when I met him, and on the ride to his new forever home. At first, he wouldn’t eat, come in to my house, or allow me to put a collar on him, much less a leash. He would have panic attacks and was afraid of everything. Poor baby would hide at night, then I would find him and gently lift him onto my bed. Gradually, Biscuit came to trust me. Now, a year later, he loves to walk on a leash, but only with me. He does zoomies around the back yard, and goes crazy over treats. He is the most affectionate dog I have ever met. His trademark look is one ear up, one ear down. Biscuit has been called a “super mutt,” with all kinds of breeds in him - most notably, pit bull and rat terrier.
Biscuit should win because he has always been an underdog, trying to fade into the background and not be noticed. I think he deserves to be noticed and celebrated!
