About the Artist

Echo Lilly Wilson is an animator and illustrator from the Triangle area of North Carolina. They graduated with a BFA in filmmaking from UNC School of the Arts, specializing in animation. Echo's thesis film, "In Our Nature," has screened at film festivals across the country and has won multiple awards, including Best Overall Animated Film at the 2023 Longleaf Film Festival.

Echo's portfolio includes animation and illustration work for documentaries, music videos, and short films, as well as freelance and contract work in animation and design. No matter the medium, Echo takes inspiration from the natural world and the fantastical.
