I, Clark W. Griswald, submit my intent to be considered for the spokescat position. Found as a stray kitten on James Island, I was raised to be the all American Family man cat. My earliest days consisted of leash training, I was groomed to be a wildlife friendly spokescat from day one. I traveled to my mom’s office since I was weeks old, launching my career as office cat. I’m currently working on a non-nutritive cereal varnish, it might get a mention at the trade show, real exciting stuff. When I’m not working on my cereal varnish, I’m pushing things off the counter and protecting my family from the invasion of palmetto bugs on the screened in porch. I bring my humans the gift of palmetto bug remains, though I sometimes get those spikey legs caught in my throat and bring them a somewhat dismantled and regurgitated gift on the hallway rug. I know they love it though, their shrieks and gagging are all the thanks I need for protecting them.
I can’t wait for this corona virus to be over, I don’t mind working from home, but I do enjoy the office. I’m hoping for that Christmas bonus, putting in a pool for the kids. If we can travel this summer, I’m taking the whole family to Wally World!
