My name is Cricket, and I am a proud Carolina Dog. The Palmetto State has been my home since before I was a stray found on the outskirts of Greenville 9 years ago. With the help of both a rescue shelter and a foster family, I found a permanent family in 2012.

Since then, I've lived all across this great state, from Clemson to Kings Mountain National Park to Wadmalaw Island. I know and love this state, and I'm honored to carry its name in my breed's heritage. But I'm not too proud to admit that even we need help sometimes. The great work of rescue organizations here in SC helped save me and countless others. It's as important as ever that we continue to support the rescue of dogs like me (and even cats).
