Monty has had such a huge effect for our family! Although we already had a shelter cat, we took Monty in off the streets (downtown) when he was only a couple weeks old. Our son is a heart patient (& also autistic), was struggling w/ some REALLY scary issues last year. During the toughest times, my husband happened upon Monty while at a job site last September. Even though he’s not a “cat person”, he said we could keep him b/c he knew how happy it would make our son (who IS a crazy cat person). We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect addition to our family! Monty is so personable. He’s a best friend for our son who doesn’t have a lot of chances to make people friends. He even has my husband enamored. This cat changed the whole atmosphere in our house, & we are so grateful. He would be a terrific spokescat for adopting pets in need! The picture of Monty is from several months ago, but it’s the one our son picked out. Thank you!
