I was found in Mount Pleasant, SC when I was a few weeks old. Someone brought me to a Rescue Center where my Mom and Dad found me. On that day, we went for a ride in a car to a big field where lots of men in short shorts were running and throwing a ball around. I would have joined in the fun but I wasn't feeling well. The next day, my parents took me to a place where people put water packs in me and told them that I had worms! Mom and Dad fed me through a tube for several days and then I felt better. I started living the good life at Coastal Carolina University. I spent many days going to the beach, watching Dad play rugby and receiving lots of cuddles from Mom and their friends. When I was 1 year old, I tore my ACL when running and had to have 2 knee surgeries. It took me a while to get my paws back under me to enjoy the outdoors again. Now, I am 6 years old and my knee and hips sometimes hurt so I don't run much but I still live a great life. I have a human sister now who loves to go on short walks with me, shares her stuffed animals and gives me lots of hugs. Sometimes she dresses me up but it's okay because she always sneaks me some of her dinner!
