My name is Otis. (Yes, like Otis Redding because I’m “a love man.”) I also answer to the sound of the refrigerator door opening, because well food. I’ve been home for nearly 5 months now and I have my humans wrapped around my muddy paws. Life before... well I don’t talk much about that. But it wasn’t great. Having a comfy bed, toys to play with, cheek chews to gnaw on, belly rubs, long walks and a yard full of squirrels to chase are my life now. I wear my collar proudly, and my mom says I’m a “dapper dog.” My dad thinks my handsome face on a local craft beer can would be the epitome of cool. Picture it, dad and me chilling on the patio while some scrumptious meat is on the grill and dad is drinking his beer- but wait- what’s that- Otis’ smug mug on the can! No way! Skinny, sick stray to spokesdog... living the dream!
