I was adopted from a high kill rate shelter when I was three years old. The shelter was overflowing with cats, and I was older and more plain looking than most people wanted. When my time was almost up, a middle school boy who had never had a pet of his own came in and fell in love with me. He took me home and loved me every single day, and I love cuddling in his lap and always being close by. I’ve been with him for ten years now and still living an amazing life. Now I live with two more rescued pets too, and could not be happier or more full of energy as the day I was adopted. I want to be a role model for all of the overlooked but amazing pets still waiting to go to a forever home in a shelter. All we need is a chance!
