While living on the streets right next to I-26 in N Charleston as a kitten, one rainy day, I crossed 5 lanes of traffic on Dorchester Rd with some little kids. A nice lady brought me into their school, seeing that I had an injury and nowhere to go. She called CAS to pick me up and told them she was going to adopt me. She called everyday to check on me to make sure they didn't put me to sleep or let someone else adopt me. Finally, after 2 weeks, I got to go home with her and make a little girl's dream of having a pet come true. I know people say cats are stupid, but I can do a lot of things nobody taught me how to do, like close doors, escape without notice, know when my guardian's are eating fish for supper, find new hiding places, lay on the oddest of objects, stand on my 2 hind feet like a rabbit, and do cat yoga (namaste). I would be the best pet ambassador because I can give hope and help for other pets so that they can find a loving forever home like I did!
