I am the best ambassador for the Palmetto Rescue Brew Beer because...
I would like to nominate my dog, Libby. Libby is a rescue from Canecorsorescue.org and was 14 months old in 2017 when she adopted us.
Since 2017 she has won the hearts and minds of hundreds as we visit schools, libraries and hospitals. We are on volunteer staff at Geisinger hospital in Scranton, PA and Hilton Head hospital on Hilton Head Island, SC in normal times. These visits are suspended at this time because of virus but we are doing virtual visits with children through a reading program at Pocono Mountain library. The children sign up and then they do a zoom session where they read to Libby. We are a Reading Education Assistance Dog team.
Libby is certified by the AKC as a Canine Good Citizen and a Advanced Canine Good Citizen.
We are a certified therapy dog team with Alliance of Therapy dogs.
Libby loves to work with people and is especially good with children. She loves playing fetch especially if it includes a swim in the ocean or a lake. She really enjoys jumping waves and making contact with breaking surf.
