Hello! I'm Desi the cat, and I live with my mom in Mount Pleasant. She named me after Desdemona from Shakespeare's Othello (nerd)--that was before she realized I'm a boy. I'm incredibly talkative and curious, and I'm my mom's first cat, so she raised me like a dog. After she rescued me, I moved Upstate with her for her senior year at Clemson. We lived together in a tiny home, where our adventures began. Although I'm an inside cat, I love going outside, so when we moved to Charleston, mom knew she had to have a screened-in porch. We love sitting outside together while I bird-watch and she sips her local brews and forces me to take pictures. Vote for me because we love all things Charleston--and so mom can have a new favorite local beer with my fluffy face on it!
