My son and I rescued this kitten from the Don Holt Bridge on 12/31/20 during heavy after work traffic. She was badly burned and had respiratory issues but with the help of the DI Fire Dept. she made it to Mt Pleasant Emergency Vet for immediate care. After 24 hrs she was sent to CAS. My son and I could not sleep throughout the long Holiday weekend not knowing how she was. We tracked her down 2 weeks later and adopted her.
We love JoAnne very much and we’re so incredibly happy that she brightened our hearts after a long and uneasy 2020. She’s the best New Years GIFT we’ve ever had the opportunity to love.
