Rose was literally found in a dumpster. In the picture, that was the night my son (CPD) responded to a disturbance call, and found a dog in a closed dumpster. That week he had been contemplating about adopting a dog. On the way to the Humane Society he knew this was the dog for him. For a week he called the Humane Society everyday to check on her, and to see if anyone claimed her; no one did. The day he went to adopt her, she ran right to him. She knew he saved her life! What he didn't know was the impact she was going to have on his life. Coming home experiencing a tough day, Rose seems to always know what to do to let him know everything will be Ok. I believe Rose is the best ambassador not only because of the way in which she was found, but the impact she has had on our entire family.
