Hi everyone! My name is Phil (or Philmore as my mom likes to call me). I'm a ten year old black and white cat who was adopted by my mom from Charleston Animal Society a little over a year ago. I had been returned to the shelter by my previous owner, and after watching other cats and kittens get adopted for a month I was excited that the shelter was doing a free adoption day because I knew I would be going home! As the day went on, I was one of three cats left and I was starting to get nervous that families were passing me up because of my age. Luckily, my mom came in towards the end of the day and immediately fell in love with me. She took me home that day and I've been living the best life ever since. I may be old, but I still keep up with my younger sister Pip and give my mom all the snuggles after a long day. I think I would be a good ambassador to represent all of the older cats who still deserve good homes no matter how much time they have left!
