I know all about that shelter life. I was adopted 8 years ago, after nearly 6 months in a shelter. I know that seems like a long time, but I arrived with a pretty bad injury & needed to recover from surgery. After I started feeling better, my search for the purr-fect human began. It didn’t take long, and believe me there were plenty of options, but in the end I know I made the right choice.
I’ve really enjoyed my forever home from day one & even have my very own play room! One of my demands was, due to my fabulous coat & the Charleston heat, that I must remain indoors. While I do enjoy watching the action outside, I realize that inside is my happy place. Besides, who needs to go out there when I have all the fun & exercise I need teasing & playing with the 2 dogs I allow to live with me inside? I may be older than them but I have no problem getting the upper paw on them! While I still feel I have plenty of my 9 lives left, one of them would feel complete if I could be the Spokes-Cat for all of those who haven’t found their forever homes just yet. Plus, with a face like this on a beer can, who could resist stocking up?!
