I found Edison on the side of the road with her throat slit open from an embedded collar. She was covered in bugs, cuts, blood and dirt. I called Animal Society, and they took her in. They cleaned up her throat wound and found a cancerous mass and severe heart worm. The cancer was removed and she is now cancer free! She is fighting through the heart worm treatment right now. When I first brought her home, she would duck when I went to pet her. She was clearly abused and afraid. Now she is a full blown snuggler! She is so sweet and loving despite EVERYTHING. She is a fighter!
