My name is Leia and I was rescued by the Charleston Animal Society! I was found abused, neglected, and near-death. I also had puppies who needed help. The CAS rescued my babies and me and nursed us all back to health. Thanks to them, I am alive and found my forever home! My parents saw a picture of me and instantly fell in love with me. When I say my mom nearly busted down a door for me… well, it’s not an exaggeration! I was so shy and nervous at first and didn’t like meeting new people. But my parents saw something special in me and it must have been fate because I knew I loved them right away, too! Now I’m fully healthy and living my best dog life! I have two loving parents and a dog-sister, who is my best friend! My days are filled with endless snuggles, delicious treats, comfy pillows (my fav!) and, of course, love! I love my life and I owe it all to Charleston Animal Society ❤️
