Scruffy Doo likes his hair big like Dolly Parton. The bigger the hair, the closer to God. If we let him, he’d be drinking beer and chasing women. In dog years, he’s legal drinking age. He joined our pack from Save Rocky The Great Dane located in Texas. He was the CUTEST puppy and looked like a Dane with Golden Retriever hair. Once my adoption was approved, a group of volunteers took turns driving him across the country. My parents kept him in Atlanta for a few days. Their Mastiff taught him how to dog and mark his territory. The day we drove home with him, my husband said “you know he’s my dog” and “I said not until you put a ring on it”. Would he have proposed later if I didn’t get the dog? Jury is still out, he LOVES this dog!!! Scruffy rocks a Mohawk and wants to start a band.. He’s a Great Boodle - part Great Dane, Standard Poodle and Boxer and 100% cuddle bug. He loves long walks on the beach, steak, snuggling on the couch and having his hair stroked. Scruffy hates it when momma cuts his hair, because everyone knows. He sounds like Chewbacca talking to me through the door when I come home from work. He will “bow to the queen” (a trick I taught him) and then runs to grab his favorite toy to show me. Then we let his sisters out of puppy prison and wrestle mania begins.
