I was surrendered to the shelter by my previous family because their other dogs were not kind to me, being left at the shelter was the scariest thing ever. I still do not like car rides, I think thunderstorms and fireworks are the worst, and I sneak on mom's bed although I know I am not allowed. I was chosen by my new family 4.5 years ago, they say I am the sweetest, most chill member of their family. From day one I have been so protective of my new family: I make sure they know when someone is at the door, that they know when it is time for a treat, and that a thunderstorm is coming. I am so thankful for second chances at happiness, for families that adopt, and security that I will be taken care of for the rest of my life.
