My name is Mia. My story is of a true rescue. I was with my previous pawrent for 9 years until he became homeless. I was shuffled around to different kennels, but then when his funds ran out, he had to surrender me back to the original shelter he got me from when I was just a puppy. I know he was very sad because so was I too. My rescue story does have a happy ending. I am such a lucky girl.
When my new pawrents heard my story, they decided to bring me home to be part of their pack. I am now 12 years old and the queen of my castle. I get to sleep in a big bed every night with my pawrents, I get all kinds of toys, and lots of yummy treats; which I have a figure to prove it. I believe that having been rescued twice makes me a great spokesdog for rescue brew.
