When I adopted Newton (formerly Yogi) last year from Charleston Animal Society, he had showed up as a stray with several wounds down his backside. When I met him for the first time, I was drawn to his personality. I promised him that whatever had happened to him, he would never have to live through that kind of experience again. Fast forward a year, Newton has been the friendliest, cuddliest, happiest, people loving eighty pound lap dog the world has ever seen! Everyone he meets says he is the happiest dog ever! While his human constantly shows love to everyone he meets, Newton has given that unconditional love back to his human ten fold. Newton and his human, Jason can often be seen around West Ashley and downtown visiting the park, going on car rides, and hanging around with friends! Newton would be thrilled to represent Palmetto Rescue Brew Beer!
