My momma, has been fostering pups, young & old for nearly 5 years now-21 fosters in all, but Charlotte, that’s me…
I was her first foster and it was a foster fail. 😊 I became a permanent member of our family.
My mom is not absolutely certain of all that I endured before I came to Wisconsin from Texas, but I was so very timid, nervous & afraid of everything from people to loud noises and fast movement.  But I immediately found my foster mom, to be my “safe haven”.
We found a special connection, my Foster Mom needed to be sure that I would be OK & I desperately needed to be able to trust someone.  Hence the fail..but a good fail. ❤️
I became family & was soon besties with my new fur sister Rosie and I am also an amazing foster sister to pups waiting to find their forever home.
It’s been almost 5 years now & I am gradually learning to trust all of my extended family a little more each day. I can relax a little now and let my mom out of my sight for short periods and enjoy the love & attention I get from my human cousins.
I might be the perfect example of how much love rescuing a pup in need can bring. :).
I’m as lucky to have been adopted as they were to adopt special little me.
