Hello ! My name is Mako . I was born about 6 yrs ago near Georgetown . I was about 2 yrs old when I was shot in the back of the neck. Luckily animal control came and got me and a great vet extracted the bullet and stitched me up very nicely. Then a very nice nurse in Murrells Inlet ,who fosters dogs, took very good care of me.

She wanted me to have a forever home and that's when my Dad saw an ad about me . He came to meet me and oh my it was love at first sight for the both of us! We bonded right away and boy are we a good match. We have been together for 4 yrs now and as soon as he gets home from work I grab my tennis ball and we go play catch. Its my favorite thing to do! I also love to go to run on the beach, swim, and go fishing out on the boat. I get so excited when my Dad catches a fish!

I think because of the rough start I had but also having wonderful people take great care of me that I try and be kind and compassionate to my other four legged animals and humans. I have a wonderful life!
