Tell us why your pet is the best ambassador for the Palmetto Rescue Brew Beer (from your pet's perspective)
I was found as a stray wandering the streets during Hurricane Matthew. Luckily, someone brought me to Charleston Animal Society and I made my debut at the Chili Cook Off. My soon-to-be family already had a few dogs, but they couldn't resist my scruffy appearance and confidence. I was a skinny scraggly mess- it's not easy surviving the streets during a hurricane! But I've blossomed into a chubby, fluffy, grouchy guy. I'm the King of our Pack, which includes 3 other rescues- I like to boss around everyone, even the pitbull! It takes some time to gain my trust and I'm picky about my friends, both human and animal. I might even growl if I'm in a bad mood. But I'm the ultimate survivor and bring so much joy to my family. My favorite activities include riding in the car (especially for school pickups) and guarding vegetables in my bed. I am the perfect example of how tough, resilient and unique rescue dogs can be. Everyone deserves a second (or third...or fourth...) chance to show you how awesome they can be. I am living my best life and would love to remind everyone how important it is to RESCUE...every time you crack open a Palmetto Beer, think about all my fellow rescues who deserve that chance!
