I was picked up by Animal Control Officers because I was living in the woods. I had a broken hip and was covered in boo boos and ticks. I was taken to a local shelter where I waited for someone to pick me up. No one came so my foster mom took me to her home so that I could heal in a warm and safe place. A local rescue organization made sure I got all the care I needed for my hip. I did not know what it was like to live in a house, or be around people, or eat dog food. She taught me all that. After 4 months of being her foster dog, it was time for me to go up for adoption. But the best thing happened... she adopted me! She named me Bagel because her phone spellcheck kept changing Beagle to Bagel. It's the perfect name because I am her "Everything" Bagel. I know a lot of Beagles need to be rescued right now and I want them all to have an amazing life like I do now.
