Our Cash was rescued from the Charleston Animal Society prior to it being a no-kill facility. Cash had kennel cough when we adopted him and we found out later he was to be put down due to the illness the next day. He was almost an angel then but instead has been an angel to our family all these wonderful years. He’s so kind and gentle to everyone he meets and exactly why it’s so important that the Animal Society is able to remain no-kill. So there are no more pets unnecessary lost when they can bring so much love and happiness to families like ours. He’s as happy now at the age of 16 as when we brought him home if not happier. To see him laying in the grass and looking at the sky with the wind in his air is the picture of pure bliss.
