Lucy Louise had a "ruff" life before being rescued last fall from an Augusta, GA area shelter by Carolina Coonhound Rescue. Likely a dumped hunting dog, she was underweight when she came to the rescue but grateful for a new life. Although she looks the part of a full-bred Treeing Walker Coonhound, she has proven to be a unique and gifted Rescue Couch Coonhound. Her favorite pastimes are going for walks and "baroo-ing" at other dogs, being wary of cats, catching bubbles that her human sister blows for her, doing zoomies around the backyard at warp speed, and eating any and every black plastic pot from the garden she can get her paws on. A hound of many talents, she's an avid sleeper, a lover of treats, and did you say peanut butter?! The perfect ambassador for rescue animals, Lucy Lou is living the good life and wants to help other rescue animals find their forever homes!
