Hello everyone!

Hershey here! I have had a few close calls so many call me a “miracle boy.” As a puppy, I wound up at a shelter in Georgia where I was rescued right before I was going to be put down (cue in Mom’s tears), they brought me up to NY where Mom found me and rescued me at 9 months. I’ve been there through all of her life moments—starting her first job, getting her first apartment, meeting daddy, getting engaged, moving to FL, getting married, and buying a house. Last year, they almost lost me due to a blood tumor that was on my spleen (that no one knew about) that ruptured causing internal bleeding. Luckily, Mom saw the worry and pain in my eyes and knew there was something wrong and rushed me to the doggie hospital where I had emergency surgery to remove the spleen and tumor, a blood transfusion, and stayed in the doggie hospital for 3 days! Recently, I also lost about 25 extra pounds and I feel so much happier and healthier. Although I’m 9.5 years old, I’m living my best life, I’m in perfect health, and still playing and acting like a puppy!

Mommy often hugs me, tells me she loves me, and says she’s so grateful for me because I rescued her.

She also cries a lot about dogs who don’t have homes. She wants me to be the face of this Beer so I can help get them homes.
