Hey everyone I’m Joanna, I was rescued from the animal shelter by my mom Karstin. She told me she was going to foster me until I found a good home but I won her over with my charm and good looks, and now she’s my forever human. Before I was recused I was living on the streets on Charleston with my two puppies. I still have a few scar just to show how hard life was. Sadly my babies were adopted before me and I stayed in the shelter by myself for 3 whole months! I was really sad during this time because I saw everyone else getting families I didn’t know why I wasn’t. They even gave me the title longest shelter residence, that must mean they really liked me. One day I was outside in the play yard when my mom spotted me she said I was so pretty and sweet that she just had to take me home. Now me and my mom do all kind of things together like go to the beach where I go swimming, we go to the dog park every day, we go on long walks, and mom always lets me sleep in her bed (she says I’m a bed hog, whatever that means). I was really scared of new people at first but mom says I’m getting better everyday. I really like when a human has a dog, that way I know they are nice! Life is so much better now that I have my mom, a nice bed, lots of toys, and all my friends at the dog park. I am learning how to love life again one day at a time.
