My story began on streets of Charleston, searching for food, adventure, but most of all, a loving home. A kind human found me after I had broken one of my walking bones, and brought me to a safe place with many other animals being healed by humans. After I was registered with Charleston Animal Society, I returned to the healing place where I took a long nap, and woke up with the ability to walk again! While I was there, I met a human that said she loved me, and wanted to take me home to be a part of her family. She took me in and gave me snacks, clothes, and a name. We spent a lot of time on the couch in front of a magic picture box, it was awesome! One day she took me for a pup cup, and told me I was officially part of the family! I now have human parents, and a dog sister! I am loved, and I believe my story is a great example of human kindness saving a scruffy mutt like me.
