I might look like a prim and proper house cat, but I hail from the backwoods swamps of Pensacola, Florida and my feral roots run rather deep. My parents, a proud Navy family, adopted me just a few weeks before moving to South Carolina when I showed up on their doorstep in a box, all wild-eyed and flea-ridden. While I might only like to be loved on my terms (it’s a privilege to pet me) and the most redeemable thing about me is my beauty, I’m a shining example of how a little bit of love and patience from the right people can make a world of difference in the life of a rescued animal.
