I was found wandering on a golf course in freezing rain. I was totally blind and deaf, double ear infection, my teeth were broken off, I was malnourished, no hair, and near death. I was so scared.

I was taken to a small shelter on Friday... where they set me up a Monday morning euthanasia appointment. The shelter emailed a nice lady at Raintree Jacks Rescue to see if I could possibly be spared. The Raintree lady rescued me from the shelter the very next morning!

I went to Raintree Saturday and my healing journey began. It took 17 months, 2 surgeries, removing one eye and cataract surgery on the other, and 3 hospital stays to get me healthy. I can see and I can hear now and I have a forever home with the director of Raintree.

I am loved so much by the entire Raintree Team and followers, and I love my life now. No more pain, I'm never hungry, I am warm, and I am happy.

I dress up each Sunday night for Raintree's weekly fundraiser on social media so I can help save other little dogs in shelters who are facing a certain and untimely death, just like I was. I think that's a pawsome reason to celebrate with a rescue brew, or 2, don't you? Cheers.
