What do my new humans have me doing? They keep trying to get a cute picture of me. They say my face would make an adorable image for a can. They say I would be a great ambassador for rescue animals. I'm new to this family, so I want to help them if I can. Let me tell you a bit about me... They call me Charles. Charles Barkley is my full name. My life did not start out easy. I spent a lot of it on the streets. People have not always been kind to me, so I get a little nervous when I see someone new. But my new home... it's pretty sweet. I feel safe here. My people talk to me like I'm family, and I think I like that. My dad is goofy. My mom always has a new toy for me. (Yay!) I've got my own blankets, my own food bins, and a comfort I never imagined. It's still hard sometimes. I'm not always easy for my new people. I can be a little grumpy from time to time. Especially if someone new walks into MY new home. But, you know what, I think this is exactly the home for me. I want to show others in my situation that a safe, happy home is possible. There are people for you. You just need to find each other.
