I used to to be an independent kitty who lived in the woods of an apartment complex off Ashley River Road. As I was on one of my daily strolls, I discovered two humans who gave me attention and I thought "they seem nice". I would venture around their apartment each day to visit them. They started feeding me and providing me warm places to sleep when it was cold. To thank them, I would patrol around their apartment, making sure no one messed with it. That's how I got my name! After playing hard to get for a few months, I eventually let them capture me. They took me to the vet to make sure I was healthy. Obviously I was. That's when we decided to make it official! I let them rescue me, and they like to say I rescued them. I went from hunting my own food, drinking water from puddles, and finding odd places to sleep where no one could hurt me, to now having food basically 24/7, fresh water daily, and soooooooo many places to sleep! My favorite is my humans' big bed! I live like a king!
