Tell us why your pet is the best ambassador for Commonhouse Aleworks Rescue Brew (from your pet's perspective)
It seems like forever ago, but it really hasn’t been that long. My name is Betty Lou. Several years ago I found myself lost and all alone. I was full of ticks and fleas and for some reason, my eye hurt so bad that I couldn’t see out of it I was miserable. I had given up hope of anyone ever caring about me again. I was lost, alone, hungry and thirsty, and I had just about given up. I laid down on the side of the road and just figured my life was over. But the next thing I knew this beautiful young lady stopped, talk to me, picked me up and took me to her home. She fed me and gave me something to drink, and the next day she took me to Charleston Animal Society. The people there were also very kind. They helped get rid of my fleas and all my ticks and unfortunately they had to take my eye. Believe it or not I didn’t even care about that eye. I was just happy to be warm and fed. After several weeks, when I was able to be adopted guess who came to see me! That beautiful, young lady who rescued me to begin with came and asked if she could adopt me. I have never been so happy. Since that time I have learned that people really can be kind and loving. I have met many people since I was rescued. All of them have been so nice to me and I make sure they know how much I appreciate it.
