Tell us why your pet is the best ambassador for Commonhouse Aleworks Rescue Brew (from your pet's perspective)
I was abandoned at a gas station but I do not know why. I am a little love bug who was anxious and ran from men. My mom volunteered for CAS at an adoption event. She loved me even through I was shaking, had a swollen lump from where My infected eye was removed, my tongue stuck out and a cone was over my head. CAS thought I was a terrier Shiz Tzu mix. One man came from N. Chas, who had Shiz Tzus but turned me down for adoption so mom stepped up and adopted me.
Turns out I am 100% Shiz Tzu and I love to cuddle and sleep on her bed. I would pick up mail or pens when they fell to the floor to help. When my dad was dying of cancer, I would ask him to let me sleep on the couch with him. When it thunders, I wake my mom to hold me.
I still get insecure and run from strangers.
My parents love me and I try to please them. I even learned to copy my big sister and will take a jump to get a treat. I have adapted well to my new home and I clean and chew on my big sister’s ears. I try to guard the house by barking when the bell rings. I am so glad CAS rescued me and fixed all my issues. All I ask is for love, hugs, food and security.
