Boddhi is a dwarf ragdoll cat who has beat all odds to not only survive but thrive. Boddhi and his siblings were rescued by a good samaritan from the outdoors at only 3 weeks old and then ended up at Pet Helpers. My husband and I volunteered to foster the babies. Boddhi and his siblings battled chronic upper respiratory infections and even the dreaded ringworm. In addition, they suspected Boddhi had Megacolon. While two of the babies were growing normally and hitting their milestones, Boddhi and his sister (Nien) were not; they were noticeably much smaller than their siblings. At the rate they were NOT growing, the vets kept telling us that it could be "failure to thrive" to prepare us in case they did not make it. Thankfully, despite all of their challenges, Boddhi and his sister survived, even though it took them 6 months to reach 2 lbs for their spay/neuter surgeries. Boddhi might be smaller than other cats his age but he has a Huge purr-sonality and presence. Now, Boddhi (and Nien) are living their best lives while advocating for Rescues, Fostering, Adoption and TNR.
