Woof! My name was GreenBean 159 when my "pawpaw" saw me at Charleston Animal Society. He was there with my "mom" dropping off a donation of medication from a previous fur baby that recently passed away. I was a 45 LB Plott Hound who was a stray, surviving (barely) on the street with a urinary tract infection, an open wound on my neck, bronchitis and respiratory infections. Not to mention you could see all my ribs and spine. Today, 8 months later, my name is Jake, I am a Very healthy 125 LB Plot Hound, VERY loved, VERY spoiled, and have an 8 LB min pin "sister" I LOVE to play, snuggle and cause trouble with! So much so, I often wonder, who "rescued" who? I LOVE MY NEW LIFE and don't know where I'd be today, without Charleston Animal Society OR my new "Paw-rents"! Please vote for "us" so we can give back!
