From ZOEY’s POV: My mom got me when I was 6 months old from a family who didn’t take care of me and didn’t want me anymore. She took me in and and I was her little sidekick until 2/28/23 where my health took an immediate decline and I had to say goodbye at the age of 14. I was the best dog, very loyal to my mom and my family. I adjusted to life’s changes. From moving in and out of new apartments with mom while she was in college, to our first house with her husband (who I had to learn to share with ❤️), adjusting to a newborn/toddler that chased me around, then to a house with property where I could roam while adjusting to losing my best friend (Quincy who was 12 at the time) to then traveling on vacations and finally making the last stop of my life from Indiana to South Carolina. 14 years, 12 moves and multiple cities. I (and best dog friend, Quincy) taught my mom about love and lost. And we both gave her our loyalty. This picture is last year, when I was celebrating my 14th birthday ❤️. I won’t lie I hated these birthday outfits, but I always felt so loved. I was just shy of turning 15 this year. I hope to show all people that animals are loyal, and we love our humans, even through all of the changes.
