Poe is a mix of 19 breeds who was found on the side of the road in rural South Carolina and taken in by a local rescue organization. I received this sweet boy for foster while I was mourning the loss of another pup. He had awful tummy problems the first few weeks of his life, but we bonded so deeply that I knew he was mine. He’s a bit of a fruit bat - his looks and treat preference confirms. Poe likes to get our attention by honking at us which is precious, and he can still be a little shy. He has really come a long way after his first few months of life on the street, and I think that he would make a great representative for rescue dogs everywhere.
