My name is Captain Hook Deas, named after two unsung heroes: the foe of Peter Pan and the best fast food seafood restaurant in America. My humans call me Cappy for short but I also answer to Capparoni, Capsaican (the arthritis cream), CapMan, Cappers, and My Man. I have 5 humans under my roof that I have been charged with protecting and keeping tabs on at all times. Sometimes the younger ones go out to the backyard without me, and I lose my mind in fear that this will be the time the squirrels finally get them. I’m a big guy, weighing in at 110 lbs, but that doesn’t keep me from loving on or sitting on anyone in my path. My parents thought I was a golden/lab mix but turns out I’m none of the above. My genetics are questioned everywhere I go. I’ve got legs for days and am not a deer or gazelle, contrary to popular opinion. I love going anywhere and am happiest when I have all 5 of my humans within sight. I have two feline brothers that although are 1/10 my size, they keep me in my place. I’m a happy and good boy with enough loose fur to start a blanket company.
