Dracula was brought to a shelter after being found living in a feral cat colony on someone's farm. He was brought into the local shelter in a live trap and hissed at everyone. He refused to be picked up and spent all day hunkered down in his litter box. We took Dracula home because we knew he would never get adopted that way. We intended to foster Drac but ended up making him part of the family. He had to be slowly introduced to living in a house and sharing space with people and other fur friends. Drac is now a very friendly, affectionate indoor house cat. He still has a bit of a wild side - he will steal food he wants right off your dinner plate - and he likes to nibble on your fingers or toes at night while you're sleeping to startle you. It's all in good fun though - he is a bit of a prankster. A little patience and love is all it took to gain his trust and give him the confidence he needed to shine.
