We rescued Ollie about 5 years ago. He was found in not so great shape causing rescuers to believe he likely was a bait dog. Vet needed to remove his eye immediately. When I went to the rescue, I was brought out to their outdoor play area. I sat on a bench & this little one eyed chug (chihuahua pug mix) jumped on my lap & I immediately asked for an adoption application. It took Ollie about a year to truly understand that his life had turned around. He is loved beyond measure & he is a little love himself. He recently lost his companion, Buster, last August to kidney failure. Buster was our dog of 15 years & since his passing, Ollie has suffered extreme separation anxiety and other anxieties. We make sure Ollie is surrounded by extra love & snuggles while I gained a brand new shadow. He is truly a rescue success story just out here living his best life full of snuggles, eating treats and sun bathing.
