Hi! My name is Poncho Hughes! I was adopted from the Greenville County Animal Care when I was just one year old. Before I was brought to the shelter and found my forever home, I was hit by a car and left for dead. Someone found me and brought me in to the shelter where they learned I had broken my hip. At the shelter I was a recipient of the Second Chance Fund which paid for me to have an FHO surgery to fix my hip. After months of being in a foster home and months of physical therapy I was finally able to walk and play again. While in my foster home my pawrents saw a post on Facebook about me and fell very quickly in love with me. Fast forward two years now, and I am living my best life as a pupfluencer who is loved by many all across the world. I’m getting ready to run my second 5K obstacle course race this year called the @ultimutt race. I gets treats, toys, and snuggles on the daily! Anyone who meets me immediately loves me because I have the biggest smile to light up even the darkest of rooms and kisses that would melt even the coldest of hearts. I love to run/play, try new treats, and visit local dog friendly breweries! I also do all that I can to help support our local rescues so that I can help animals like me find their forever home.
