My old owner abandoned me when I was 4 years old. He dropped me on the side of the road one night during a thunderstorm. I was taken to the Folly Road Animal Hospital where I lived for 6 months before finding my new home. I was so scared, I went into protection mode, leading the vet staff to think I was deaf! One Friday, I met my new mom and dad when they dropped my now brother off for boarding. As I have settled in, I have learned that I can release my protection mode and I am now living my best extra life. I spent some time at K9 Control Training where I learned to better cope with my fears. My favorite hobbies include going on runs with my mom, sleeping on Mom and Dad's pillow, and sneaking onto mom's new couch when she isn't looking. I now have a big brother, and 2 feline siblings. I am still scared of loud noises and storms, but I am more loved than I have ever been and I am enjoying my new life on Folly Beach.
