Rescued from a puppy mill in January 2022, Charleston Animal Society in support of Pickens County Sheriff's Office, plucked Boo as a young puppy out of frigid conditions in the outdoors of Upstate South Carolina to bring him to safe refuge at the Animal Society. Boo blossomed into an adorable dog, deserving of all the attention he gets. He has commandeered the backyard pool as his own and jumps in to swim laps, showing off to everyone who comes by. Boo is a great story of rescue, emerging from horrific conditions to becoming part of a loving family. He is full of character and appreciation. Somehow, he knows what he has now is another world from what could have been. Boo loves everything and everyone, even the copperhead snake who bit him last October; although, I don't think his affinity toward his "pal" is quite the same as it was before the "bite." Boo is the quintessential rescue dog, going from emotional "rags to riches." Boo is Boo, the most wonderful pal on the Earth.
