Shelby came into our lives a total surprise. She is a rescue and her previous owner couldn't handle all the things that make Shelby, Shelby. We were pup sitting and she asked if we knew anyone who would adopt her. My 5 year old fell in love with her the moment she walked through our door (OK, so did I!). We decided to open our hearts and home and Shelby became the newest member of our family! This is a pic of her smile. My daughter spent 4 weeks with her grandparents this summer and that was the longest time Shelby spent apart from her little human. I think the smile tells the rest! This rescue pup rescued us! We said goodbye to our beloved Toby, a handsome Cavalier, two years ago and it was devastating. Shelby and all of her goofy wonder has brought us a new light and love that I know Toby would approve. Her signature color is pink, her favorite toy is anything that squeaks, and she fiercely protects her little human. Affectionately dubbed "wiggle butt", Shelby welcomes us home every day with a squeaky toy and playful bay. I can think of no better way to celebrate a rescue than to vote for Shelby and her magical smile as the best ambassador for the Palmetto Rescue Brew Beer.
