When I was little my human momma watched over and protected me at every turn. Now that I'm five years old, I protect my momma and watch over her. My momma cant even sneeze or cough that I dont alert and check on her...even if I'm asleep. Dog love is like that...its focused on family and home. There is a reason why we are called Man's Best Friend: nothing sways our love and loyalty, it is purely unconditional...like every true love should be. My fur-momma was a Border Collie and my fur-daddy was a Catahoola, but my human momma loves my mixture and tells me all the time she loves me and I am special...and I believe her. I love toys, me and my momma call them my "babies". I take my babies by mouth everywhere I go. When I take one outside and happen to forget it coming back in, my momma says "get your baby" and I jump off the screened porch into my fenced-in yard to retrieve it. I'm hesitant about strangers coming to my house, especially the heat/ac guys...I dont trust their hot/cold attitudes, I always let them know upfront, I dont play when it comes to my momma. They catch my drift tho, so all is well. My momma adopted me but I am indeed her baby, I sleep on her bed every night and love her greatly. My momma tells everyone that i would fight to my death for her and she's right.
