My name is Simon, and I’m a rescued cat
Let me take a moment to tell you ‘bout that..

My mom saved my siblings & I at a few wks old
“They may not make it” she was told.

But mom didn’t listen, she was willing to fight
15 hrs away we drove through the night

The Dr said I had a growth restricting my airway and that I could die
Mom begged them to save me & started to cry

They rushed me to surgery, and just like that
I suddenly became a healthy cat!

My days of being hungry, sick, & alone on the streets are long past
What happened next, you ask?

Mom stopped crying and started to sing
Now I spend my days living like a king!
